FAQ

Oman: FAQs

Does CentrixPlus have an office in Oman?

Not yet. Oman is served remotely from our Kuwait headquarters, the team behind 50+ Odoo implementations since 2013, and we also have an office in Dubai for regional coverage. Oman projects get the same platform, process and support as our Kuwait clients.

Is Odoo configured for Oman’s 5% VAT?

Yes. Oman introduced VAT at a standard 5% rate in April 2021, in line with the GCC framework. We configure Odoo’s tax engine, fiscal positions and chart of accounts to Oman Tax Authority requirements, including zero-rated and exempt categories.

Can Odoo handle Oman’s logistics and port sector?

Yes. We configure Odoo’s inventory, warehouse and fleet modules for freight forwarding and logistics, a natural fit for Oman’s Indian Ocean position and the Duqm and Sohar port developments central to Oman Vision 2040.

What call center software do you offer in Oman?

CentrixDial, our own cloud and on-premises call center software, delivered remotely with the same Arabic and English IVR, predictive dialing and Odoo integration we deploy for clients in Kuwait and the UAE.

How does remote delivery work for a Muscat-based business?

Discovery, configuration, training and go-live run over video calls and remote sessions, with a project manager in Kuwait or Dubai coordinating the timeline. Muscat is a short flight from both offices for any on-site work a project genuinely needs.
